(ASE) is a minority, woman-owned, Alaska small business corporation.  ASE provides management support, coordination, consulting and evaluation services on behalf of federal, state, and local governmental agencies, private sector organizations, and federally recognized tribes and native-owned businesses throughout Alaska, the lower 48 states and the Pacific Basin. 

Alaska Summit Enterprise, Inc. (ASE) was established by current ASE principal Ms. PJ Wilkins-Bell in the 1980s as Alaska Safety Education. The company provided first aid and CPR certificate training, primarily to oil companies and their sub-contractors. ASE stood for the principles of knowing its clients, their needs and knowing the product it delivered. These principles still hold true for Alaska Summit Enterprise, Inc. in 2008; where an expanded staff and nationwide network of consultants are committed to assisting in the development of rural communities in a culturally sensitive and effective collaborative framework.

ASE is known for its diligence in ensuring each project runs smoothly, on time and within agreed budget parameters. The key strength to our success is our knowledge of struggling families and communities and traditional rural lifestyles and challenges. Knowing cross-cultural protocols combined with extensive management experience in the government and business sector, ASE is skillfully able to draw out the strengths of each group and assist in reaching mutually desired outcomes.

ASE’s staff and consultants have more than 200 years of combined experience working in Alaska, the lower 48 states and the Pacific Basin, and interfacing with its people. We know rural America, we know its people, we understand the challenges and we understand the various cultural nuances in each region. Our training and technical assistance in based on innovative approaches gained from the experiences of knowing what it takes to implement small or large projects in rural communities, the timing of the seasons, the rhythm of life and the costs of delivering materials on locations off the beaten path.
